I am an accomplished handmade ceramic pottery artist with an insatiable and ever-growing passion for my work. I’ve been making studio ceramics for almost 20 years and now, more than ever, committed totally to the growth of my creative soul and the pursuit of the perfect design. I make a wide range of hand thrown domestic stoneware which are all fired to a stoneware temperature of 1260ºC in an electric kiln. Using underglaze velvets the resulting glaze colours are rich and subtle yet with a hard wearing surface. Many of the pieces are fired without the gloss finish of stoneware transparency adding a new dimension to the work. I also use other media to decorate my work from gold leaf to diamonds.

The inspiration comes from many forms ultimately the female figure.
